Big Sky Announces New Pricing for Remark! Unified Messaging
New Low Cost Small Business Packages

Big Sky Technologies today announced new pricing for the Remark!
unified messaging product line. Featured in the new pricing are
low priced, bundled solutions for smaller businesses and increased
discounts for all unified messaging configurations. The new pricing
is a result of feedback from customers and business partners and
addresses a continuing trend toward lower cost software solutions.
Remark! Unified MessagingAssistant for IBM (NYSE:
IBM) Lotus Notes and Domino now offers entry level bundles for
smaller companies. Remark! UM - Small Business Edition is available
in three configurations with a two port solution offered at only
$1,995, a four port version at $3,495, and an eight port version
at $6,595. All three bundles include telephony interface hardware,
remote installation support, and twelve months of maintenance.
Although any company can purchase any Remark! UM SBE bundle, each
company is limited to the purchase of a single package. This new
pricing brings UM features within the financial reach of even
the smallest company and allows larger companies to purchase a
low cost pilot system. Remark! UM Small Business Edition includes
the full functionality of Remark! Unified MessagingAssistant.
In addition to introducing SBE bundles, Big Sky
has increased Remark! Unified MessagingAssistant discounts across
the entire product line. All Remark! unified messaging configurations
have been reduced by 40% or more. Larger configurations have been
reduced by as much as 75%. These price reductions afford our customers
a higher Return on Investment (ROI) and lower Total Cost of Ownership
(TCO) than competitive solutions. Customers will continue to enjoy
low operating costs year after year through the ease of deployment
and administration offered by Remark!
The new Remark! pricing is effective August 1, 2003
for purchases made directly from Big Sky or through Big Sky Resellers.
Remark! Unified MessagingAssistant remains the only
unified messaging solution for Lotus Notes and Domino that has
been designed from inception as a native Domino solution. While
other vendors require an additional software layer called Domino
Unified Communications Services (DUCS) to integrate with Domino,
Remark! interfaces directly with Domino. By not requiring this
software layer, Remark! eliminates the cost and the logistical
problems of DUCS deployment.
