Big Sky enjoyed attending the Ulta General Manager Conference in Chicago this weekend. In addition to salon and district managers, over 800 store general managers attend the annual meeting for education sessions, team building, and exposure to the home office. Big Sky was there for the corporate conference to support the Retail Support – Facilities Maintenance department in interacting with the GMs, gathering feedback, and doing on the spot training.
It is a rare opportunity to interact with so many end users at one time and place, and hear their perspective as the originator of the work and purchasing flows. Some of the input gathered today will make its way into our roadmap for development of future features – as with all customer feedback, it drives a large portion of our innovation.

Ulta Beauty has just over 800 open stores, and as one of the fastest growing retailers in America will open more than 100 new locations this year. They leverage Big Sky heavily for all reactive, preventative, and scheduled maintenance as well as lighting and fixture purchasing.
