Big Sky is a software development and application hosting company located in San Diego, California, and operates as part of ServiceChannel. We are a mix of developers, designers, project managers, and problem solvers with the shared goal of delivering top-notch service and tireless innovation.

Our Work

To put it briefly, we offer integrated Operations and Facility Management software as a service (SaaS) for retailers, restaurants, and other multi-location industries. We design, develop, and support the tool that we call Big Sky (go figure) under one roof and securely host the solution at redundant co-locations in San Diego and Las Vegas.

A Brief History

We started out developing voice products in 1991 and then added our web application in 2000.  The solution has since been expanded upon and refined into what you see today with steady doses of innovation and customer input, and many, many lines of code. We merged into ServiceChannel in February of 2016 and the future has never looked so bright.

Our Approach

Using our extremely flexible platform built on tried and true workflows, Big Sky takes a collaborative and consultative approach to supporting customers to make sure that each of our very different clients have the tools to support their unique processes.

Rapid Development

Big Sky pushes four to six releases of new features and functionality per year, with one major release and the rest small. Our in-house developers are able to react quickly to new and changing requirements; we take pride in this flexibility, while our customers reap the benefits.

Software as a Service

Big Sky’s tools are offered as a service, meaning that we host, maintain, back-up and manage the security of the application and your data. All you need to access and take advantage of Big Sky is any modern device or computer and an internet connection. We will take care of the rest.

Team Based Support

Every team member at Big Sky understands the unique nature of each of our customers and how they use the system.  If your named point of contact is out of the office or busy in your time of need, another member of our support team can and will take care of it.
